I think this is the best book I have ever read in a long time. I really liked how you are hooked to the book you never get bored your eyes are always glued to the paper. I think this book beats a lot of books I have already read because this book has fun, adventure, comedy, suspense, and surprise. I think this book should become a movie, O think it has the capacity to be a movie.

When the book finishes Eli realizes that his father lied to them and wants to kill them so Eli tackles him and punches him in the face so Elis dad falls asleep then the compound explodes and Eli and his family escape into the woods and live happily ever after until, his father actually makes it out of the compound and follows them into the house and kills them and then they all live happily ever after.

I like the point of view of this book because its in Elis point of view so you can see everything the main characters wants you to see and you know everything that has been going on in the book because you are in the point of view of the main character. The reader can see everything through Elis eyes. 

The characters in the book change a whole lot than when the book started. Eli the main character was small and weak at the beginning of the book but overtime he starts running, going to the compounds gym, playing basketball, and doing a lot of exercise and at the end he is big and strong. Elis mom and dad change by the way that they become more caring for their children and how they are and that. Elis sisters change a lot because they start doing ballet, and jazz and dancing, and cooking, and baking, a lot of new thing and they grow up too.

Some of the conflicts in the book are: Eli and his family are running out of food down at the compound and without food they wont be able to survive. Another conflict is that some lightbulbs are going off and they are running out of lightbulbs. Another conflict is that they are running out of power and they need to get more or they wont be able to live down there anymore. The main conflict of the book is that Eli and his family are having to live down at the compound.

The book is called The Compound, it has a lot to do with the book, actually it has everything to do with the book because The Compound its where Eli and his family live. The Compound is enormous it has a lot of rooms its like a replacement house underground. The compound was built underground so Eli and his family could protect themselves from something bad like catastrophic events.  

Eli is the main character of this book. Other characters are the dad, mom, his sisters and his twin. Eli is very athletic and goes to the gym every day runs 6 miles and then works out he is very responsible and has a good relationship with his family. Eli´s dad is a billionaire who gives his kids everything they want, he is a nice person and strict. Eli´s mom is a sweet mom nice and a great person. Eli´s sister Teresa is an annoying talking machine she is like 8 years old and she likes to manipulate and blackmail her family for stuff. Her other sister Lexie is kind of serious and shy she doesn't like making their parents life harder so she just sits quietly. Eddy is Eli´s twin brother and his best friend they used to do everything together.

Eli and his family are living in the compound, the underground bunker his dad built. Eli is living down there with his mom his dad and his 2 two little sisters. He used to have a twin brother but he didn't make it to the compound also his grandma. Eli´s dad is a billionaire and he invested a lot of money on the compound. Everybody has their own room and there is a family room and a kitchen and a backyard and they have a gym and a basketball court. They have food to last for a long time, also supplies.
